Is there a way of disabling the sale function for one photo? I have a Power account and would like to upload a photo that I don't want anybody to be able to purchase, only to view.

You can disable sales by gallery, not by photo.

The only thing I can think of to disable sales for a particular photo without disabling sales for the gallery is to upload a file that is too small to meet the print requirements. That may not give a good viewing experience though. Minimum requirements can be see on this page - http://www.smugmug.com/help/print-quality.

Put that photo in an unlisted gallery with printing turned off and "collect" it to the gallery you want it to be viewed.

To Smugmug: I just noticed that nothing happens when clicking the "buy" button if a particular photo isn't for sale. It looks like something is broken. It would be nice to have a "this image isn't available for purchase" message instead.

Can you show us a link? Put it in the bug forum, thanks...

    Not for sale images
I have an image also which I want to be in a gallery but not for sale = I noted it's a Limited Edition only and tried to apply a -0- price to it as an image price thinking that would pull it out of the portfolio pricing I have == it didn't work = right now I have it hidden on the gallery page but I thought that I could set pricing such that something can't be purchased if I put -$0- in the spaces, which I did...

Any other ideas? I don't know what the heck 'collecting' it into the gallery is= I thought it would be much easier if I just priced it as an image itself.
