I don't feel very strongly about either image one way or the other, so I guess I need some help deciding. :scratch

I think the paintbrushes say stripes more strongly than the fruit, although I really like the fruit as an image.

The paintbrushes don't pop as much as some of the other entries, but it is a unique take on the theme and I like that. Maybe try some different angles. Maybe a zig zag pattern?

As a pure photograph, I like the fruit picture much better, but I think thematically, it would be pushing it a bit. #1 fits the theme better but it does not capture my interest as much as the fruit picture does. If you have some time to come up with something different that both fits the theme and is a great photograph ... that is what I would do.
