    Personally I prefer the 2nd one but part of that is because the kite looks wrong - over sharpened perhaps but definitely noisy imho.

    That is what is bothering me. The original is like that too... I was zoomed in on it and then cropped it. Whatever it is, it bothers me too.

    Having looked closer around the edges of the kite, particularly the leading edge & especially the tail the colours appear to bleed into the sky.
