OK... so I have the beads pics as possibilities, but took these this afternoon and liked them... Any night owls out there think they work better? Thanks in advance...

Nice! Pretty eyes. Great Makeup! I'm personally more partial to images that look natural. less posed. For me, #1 does that but the brightness in some areas may bother some. But that frame has this capture the moment feel in it's composition, and also in the way her personality comes thru in her eyes. It's beautiful. She should want that pix. :o)
Are they better than the bead pix....hard to say. I feel both are original, and both sets are wonderfully composed...
Bottom line....I'm no help...I'm just speakin' to hear my own voice. Laughing.gif
    Good luck!!!

Very nice idea & well executed (says the man who doesn't shoot people.)
Like Paul I am partial to shots that look less posed BUT that aside of these I like #3 & #4, they are less hot than #1 and still don't look too posed.

Like Paul said pretty eyes & I do like the fact that in #2 & #5 the lady is wearing stripey earrings. Of the +earring shots I preferred the one you just removed.

    Paul,

Again, thanks for the input... I feel the same way about shots that are obviously posed. I like #1 the best composition wise too, but after looking at it on a different monitor, I see what you and Peter must be seeing in the highlights... I rolled the dice and decided to enter a slightly cropped version of #3 because the makeup seems to stand out more and it isn't overblown... if nothing else, it was fun taking the pics (and seeing the reaction on my son's face when he saw my wife in the makeup:D)

    Peter,

Thanks for the feedback... I decided to go with #3 for the same reasons you listed... I felt like these images were more captivating than the bead shots, but I'm not sure about them as far as the "stripes" are concerned... and as a bit of trivia, those stripey earrings are made with the same kind of paper beads that were in the other series...:D

All of them are very well done. So much so that it is difficult to figure out which is best.
