An actual water mill first used for Manioca processing, and later adapted for sugar cane pressing. The gentleman in the banner is Ze Pedro, who had worked at the mill, and was born to parents who had been slaves until 1888.

The third to last one is my favorite, seems totally deserted unlike some of the other beaches in Brazil.
