went up poking around in the woods east of North Bend, WA, last weekend... didn't find the waterfall i was looking for, but i did get this. i really liked the colors, the light, and the contrasts... 5D, Tammy 24-135 @ 99mm, .6 sec @ f/18....

    got an email the other day from the city administrator of a nearby town, asking if he could use this image as part of a slide show they air on the local TV station between televised city proceedings and other programming... now, a small-town TV station showing mostly city government proceedings isn't the sort of place where anyone's work is likely to get "discovered", but i still think it's kinda cool... and hey, you never know who might see it, even there! ;)
