San Antonio Mission Espada in HDR

I did a brief shoot at one of the missions last week. This is Mission Espada, the first mission in Texas. Here is a link:
http://www.nps.gov/saan/planyourvisit/espada.htm.

These were shot about 0730 in the morning so I had a bit of early light on the facade of the sanctuary. I have only processed a couple of shots but I really like this one and wanted to share. I did a little tweaking with the perspective tool in PS in the black and white one, to straighten the walls. I think it looks better. Looking for some C&C on both shots.

Thanks,
Lauren

    Lauren,

I like it. Much better than my effort when I was there.

    I do prefer the color.

    Hi Lauren,

Excellent.clap.gifclap I much prefer the color version. It seems so much more " alive ". Your application of HDR was very well done....looks very natural.
This one goes into the winner column for sure.

Randy - I'll try to keep tabs on the timing for the missions and send you a list. Look me up next time you are here!

Sam - I never saw your missions shots. Which ones did you end up going to?

OH my goodness Lauren, you're doing HDR!!!
I love the black and white version, it's my favorite of the too, but I also really like the color version. It's a win/win.

    Howdy Lauren,

These are very nicely done, just the right amount of HDR to add
that feel and look but not "over done".

    Love seeing the Classic Missions.
    Take care,

Liz - Yes, I do shoot HDR sometimes. Actually, I shoot a lot of brackets but end up not processing most of them for HDR. I do sometimes use them for blending shots in PS.

Craig - Thanks for the comment. Come on down to this part of Texas sometime and we'll go shoot the missions.
