Alaskan Heaven...the search

My wife and I decided to get out of Anchorage and leave the kids at home. We were off to look for a little slice of heaven. Would we be successful?

1. We arrive at our destination.





2. Looks promising! Heaven must be here somewhere!





3. Okay. How do we find our place in this world? So confusing.




4. Ah...here we go. Now we are on the right track. Heaven must be right here.





5. Wow...nice view from our window! Yep, that's a glacier.






6. Time to wander around. Maybe sit and relax? Nah, we just got here!





7. Let's get a snack! Yep, the cheese platter sounds great. What? $15? You must be crazy. Two apricots are the only things missing from this pic! WOW. This is NOT heaven!.





8. Off to explore the grounds. Pretty pretty!





9. Nice...





10. So many things to see! Just watch for the bear and moose that frequent this area. None of them today, however.

11. A little 4 mile hike in the woods. Heavenly.





12. Time to go up and see what we can find.

16. It was soooooo foggy in heaven that we had to head on back to earth.





17. Well, we did see this strange symbol all over the place. Perhaps it has some mystical meaning?




Well, that's it. We decided that heaven is at home with our kids. It was a fun night away though and I hope you enjoyed going on our little adventure as well.
