Bath Time

I have watched and photographed this Mom and fawn whitetail deer on and off for the last three weeks.
It has been a joy ... the mother is so calm and the fawn is a hoot to watch run and frolic.

The photo below was taken in Cades Cove - Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It was featured on the
front page of the Great Smoky Mountain Association (Friends of the GSMNP) website and will be the subject
of a photo series in the Knoxville, Tennessee newspaper next Monday.

I write this not to give myself a pat on the back, or toot my own horn, because I see all the "warts" in this image.
My reason is to thank the folks here that have encouraged, coached and critiqued some of the god awful images
that I have posted here in the short time that I have been trying my hand at wildlife photography. Only a
little over 2-1/2 years since I purchased my first dslr camera .... yeah yeah I know Harry I still use Canon.
