first fire and smoke attempt (matches)

I'm working on a better setup to do some real fire/smoke shots, but this was my first attempt. It's trickier than I thought, especially getting it framed properly and not cutting things off (while keeping fingers out of the frame). I just missed this one and cut off the match head a bit. :(

Which PP version do you prefer?

Canon 7D and some stuff that sticks on the end of it.

I like both, but the second one is really good.

I agree -- the 2nd on is good.

BW works well for this in my opinion. Color is good too, but for some reason there is a mystery to the smoke in BW.
