Sorry.......not sure where this belongs...

Seems I remember there is a photographer on this forum that uses a point and shoot camera and does AMAZING work........anyone able to find me a link to their site.....thought I bookmarked but my search is coming up empty.

Thank you in advance......have a happy humpy day!:barb

You're going to have to be more specific. I've seen a lot of really nice work on DGrin done with non-slr cameras.

J: The photographer who comes to mind is Awais Yaqub.

H: Outstanding compositional skills. For years shot with a little Sony P&S.

He shoots with a 7D now and I believe he shot with a digital rebel before the 7D.

Was there a particular shot that stuck in your mind or subject type that the photographer seemed to like? I've always felt that P&S cameras were a bit under rated as a part of the learning process.

Actually I was really interested in seeing some really fantastic work from a simple point and shoot camera.......and I remembered there was someone on this board or someone that posted a link to this person's work.......and it really was amazing.......and actually my reasons were to demomstrate to a friend that the person behind the camera really makes all the difference no matter what camera one has!
Thank you all for taking the time to respond.....! :)

Would you have any links you could provide to their site perhaps?
    Thank you in advance!

Sorry, no I don't. I can tell you that the Canon G Series is used by quite a few serious shooters.
