    Hi Mark,

Talent is nice to have in the craft but nothing beats practice. Not measured
in hours but in years. How long have been at this craft ? You got
some nice work (clouds) here with huge potential ! The next step
in your work is to add more foreground in your photos they look
like there are on a flat plane 2D. This is typical when the camera is
shot at eye level with a wide angle lens.

The easiest way to do this is lower the camera to about 6 inches off the
ground and shoot a vertical or horizontal shot. This will add depth and
artisitc flare to your photos. Look for something interesting to put in the
new foreground like a set of foot prints, a bird feather, sea shell etc.

Before you know it you will be posting stunning photos on here also !
Practice low POV (point of view) untill you get them down pat.
Give it a try you will see.

    Take care,
    Dwayne Oakes

How long have I been at this craft? Several years. How many good pictures have I taken? Still waiting for the first! :lol

Point taken about the foregrounds, or lack thereof! Will try your advice next time. thumb.gif.
