Thank you Richard. That ticks off two of the items on my list; different, interesting.
A little background: A few months back my brother and his wife were going to Cancun for a few days. They've been there many times and enjoy the place immensely. I asked what it was like? So they described the resort in detail and all the things they like. A paradise.
Frankly, although I love my brother and sister-in-law very much, I was not intrigued in the least. We enjoy our differences and find each other interesting. I'm sure they find trips my wife and I make to the deprevations of the desert equally fascinating--We both enjoy hearing of each other's good times and adventures, but have our own preferences and definition of paradise.
So, the image is my interpretation of a man-made paradise. Sort of cheesy, somewhat of a facade that hides true nature, but the sky can be quite beautiful. The bottom portion of the image was taken of an old metal sign painted in the 1960s for a resort, and the top, a desert sunset. I left the metal seam in so it would look like a pano--The nails looked too cool to leave them out.

The couple really helps to make the full size image. It's such a cool detail along with the nails that hold the metal on to the backboard.
