Illegal Art- Los Angelas

Here is another set of images from a recent outing with some LA Urban artists...not as grungy as the others, but here's what it looks like during the day. After buying the spray paint at Lowes, the lady at the register asked us if we were going to be painting murals....they responded with "Yeahhh my mom just said I could paint any mural I want on my walls"
To get to this location, someone had to break 2 bars off a fence, then we had to scale a 20+foot wall after walking a quarter mile on the edge of a cliff. We had to hide from police copters...ghetto birds....and not be seen by any of the people working in the buildings or houses near by. Not to mention the danger we were in of getting mugged... but once we got through the intensity of the journey getting to the spot, things calmed and we sat back and watched 3 cans a spray paint and a sketch turn in to a masterpiece. Again, these guys have a pretty simple list of etiquette when it comes to their illegal art, never throw up a piece over someone elses unless you can create something better. And again, my rules for photographing them: No faces.
Thanks for looking
