Pictures from the Midnight Drags. They're open to anyone that can drive up to the track, and par $10 to race. CLICK HERE FOR GALLERY

The first 4 pages are from a Canon 1D. I really dislike most of the pictures, I blame the ISO. I found out later that it was at 1250, and I had no clue how to change it. It was my first time holding the camera so I had no clue where most everything was. But there where a select few that still turned out.

After page 4 the pictures are from a Canon Rebel. Enjoy.

Oh, and a little teaser:

Not bad and it does convey the feeling of motion/speed thumb.gifthumb.gif I also like the angle of the shot. Car in foreground and specatators in the BG. Niceeeeee...... clap.gif

I think you could make many of these shots better by adjusting the white balance. The shots are too red and IMHO it detracts from the action you are trying to show. Either use a Custom WB (using a gray card or white paper/cup/etc) as you are shooting. Or shoot in RAW and adjust during post processing. I played with this shot and it looks better, to my old eyes, when the wb is adjusted, some of the glare (from the lights) reduced and sharpened up a bit.

If you'd like me to post this edit to your shot, let me know :D

    Thanks for sharing :D
