    I used to travel from SJC to SEA regularly. I liked the early morning flight for exactly this reason. Not sure the route your aircraft took but from SJC, the route is straight up and along the way, you see all the volcanos. From Lassen to Rainier.

    Beautiful. I like the Rainier "hat" clouds floating toward the foreground. You're not going to be seeing much of Helens with those clouds!
