This shot is from the same morning walk pictured in the couple of earlier posts.....but on the other side of the lake.

Other than it needing to be leveled a bit, it is a beautiful picture. Love the colors.

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for looking in. This shot was made using a bubble/leveler-type tripod. The trees closer to the lake on the left tend to drift in that direction. Look at that one tree closest to the water....it has a really distict slant toward the water. A more accurate indication is provided by the tree on the right.

    Hey Randy,

Thanks for the kind words. Is it likely for you to get any work-related assignments over in this area if the type of events arise that require your kind of expertise?

    See you,

    Tom

:D I do indeed. That is the time of year when I miss it the most. I will be heading back towards the end of August for a week and will definitely be making my way to the mountains :) You captured it beautifully.

I've always wondered, Gary, how these mountains would be captured by someone like you and the skills you have with the camera. Thanks for your kindness.

    Hi Chuck,

Based on your comment, I think you can appreciate why I spend so much time up in the high country of the Appalachians. It's wonderful up there all year long, but the Fall is really something special.

    Take care,

    Tom
