DSS 56 - First Attempt at Light Painting

I'm not sure this one works. Too dark? I think I've done as much as I will be able to in post.

    It's very interesting, but I'm not sure what the source of 'painting' light is.

    Thanks, Seascapes!

    The source was a flashlight that I used to paint the cats as the shutter was open. I think it doesn't come across very well.

    I may need a longer shutter and more focused light. I'll try again.

    It's hard when you are using moving subjects along with moving light. As I found out, flashlights have diffused light that doesn't work very well.

    That's an interesting shot. I think its the type of shot where you have to try a bunch of takes to get that one magical shot.
