panoramic prints

I searched and only found one or two threads on this...looking for input on panoramic print options. I currently use EZ Prints (directly, not SM) to print custom size panorama shots. Their price is reasonable, but I am looking for higher quality and different finish options, if possible.

Best case: 8" x 48" metallic print. :D

Does Bay Photo do custom sizes such as that? I didn't see it on their site (and should probably just call them to ask), but it would be a nice option.

Any recommendations for other printers over EZ?

A really fast look at Bay photos site has a 30 X 60 size listed. You could get 3 8 X 48 panos on the same print.

I am sure if you called Bay they can cut it to size for you as well. Don't try and cut it yourself! Too long in my opinion to get a straight cut.Sam

Ah...great idea. I wasn't thinking of combining multiple on one large print, but that could work. I'll check on pricing to have them cut them for me. Thanks for the tip!

edit: chatted with their customer service and they will cut the 30 x 60 print for an extra $5...perfect!

I list some alternatives on a panoramic resources page:
