    I am trying to like the last 2 pictures, but the lack of sharp focus is driving me nuts.

    #3 has some nice bokeh, but the lack of sharpness in what I think is your subject ruins it for me.

    Again in #4, the subject(the 2 flowers I think) have green leaves, or something in front of them.

    Sorry Kris, these just don't work for me. Keep at it though!!!!

    Thank you for the comments. I agree with you on the focus. It was a windy day and I was rushing the shots because I was out with my wife and some friends. I may have to go back and try to get a better composed and focused shot.

    I never mastered flower photography. Pretty hard to compose when the wind is blowing. One thing I do know is you can do some gardening before the shot... pull out a leaf or two to expose your blossoms. Get rid of grass or diseased leaves, that sort of thing. After you get all the landscaping done, you can compose your shot. Then it's gotta be sharp. It always felt like hard work to me...

    Wish I was better at it.
