Not a clue what this is, but it's growing in my bird feeder area. Thought it looked kinda pretty so it "lives" :D

Good job with the lighting Mary thumb.gif, or catching it just right!

I really like this.. very simplistic and agree with Randy on the lighting.

When I got to 10,000 or so of these and other assorted flavors of what not
growth, I got rid of the bird feeder once and for all. Then we had to move
away cause I wasn't about to do all the pulling / other "work".
    Is that bad? :Dmwink.gif:D Really?

    Howdy Mary,

Really a neat capture, love the light and colors of the
    plant.

The negative space of the blackness really sets the
    nice cool greens almost ablaze.

    Very nicely done.
    Take care,

    Hi Devin --

Glad you like this one. Simple is better sometimes.

    Thanks for commenting.

Ahhh...you don't like pulling all this stuff up rolleyes1.gif

It's the pits so I stopped pulling them up and started letting them grow and threw in a lot of flower seeds in with it. Built a certain part of the yard just for the bird feeder and all it's wonderful weed growth. Now I take photos of it. Granted....people who see it think it's a mess and it is :D

Only one problem with it...our new pup gets lost in it and only destroys the flowers headscratch.gif

Glad you like it Craig -- sure wish I knew what it was. It's different.

I agree...the blackness does help set off the green in the weed.

Excellent solution Mary clap.gif and one I would put into action should it ever
come to pass to have a feeder again. Just add flowers and go with it.
    VeryCool

The puppy is only making way for new growth in a unique way. rolleyes1.gif
(In a perfect world I might could be taught to actually think that way)

Try it -- you'll like it :D Granted there are some weeds in there that are just plain ugly. I just hope they don't spread into the yard next spring. Then the hubby will have an issue.

Natural fertilizer -- it works better then Miracle Grow thumb.gif

Cool shot. I really like it.

Sounds like if you threw a couple prey animals in there you could have your own unique ecosystem going.

    Anybody can do it.

Not sure what it is. It wasn't anything that I planted or at least something I knew I was planting. A seed could of been carried in by a bird.

I know when I have thistle out for the birds...well it seems to show up in the strangest places growing. Now I don't use thistle for feeding the birds.

If you know what it could be I'd sure like to know. That one I actually like :D
