    Is there something that explains when and how SmugMug will adjust and change your photos? (such as remove EXIF data because the largest viewing size is larger than the original?)

    I don't believe I had a way of knowing this behavior existed. I actually thought the largest viewing size would adapt to the largest size of the actual photo and I would retain all protection (watermark and copyright).

    It's a corner case, as I and John Friend have explained. I also said that I'd look into this corner case.

    I meant in general and was using this as an example.

    I am trying to find out if there is anything else I need to look out for so I can do things correctly.

    But it seems that is not the case?
