black and white shift?

I just uploaded some Black and White photos to a new gallery and all the shots seem slightly lighter than my originals?

Is this because of the added sharpening?

I did everything the same as I usually do??:scratch

well, these were originally HDR images that I converted to black and white in CS4.

converted to SRGB and saved as Jpegs to upload....
saved versions look normal when viewed in Photoshop or Bridge...

all the images are a little lighter with slightly less contrast.....

we had an issue with the uploader in 10.5.8 but just pushed a fix. Clear your cache completely, and close, reopen, try again.

(try again) meaning upload them again?

I'm not sure how to clear my cache?

(close, reopen) the uploader?
