anyone know anything about these radios? They are 10% of the cost of pocketwizards and the only thing you dont' get is ttl

Just glancing at the doc's and the cowboy web site I don't see anything that says that says it supports high speed sync. Since it's a flash unit setting it seems like it should, but you might want to check with them to confirm that.

I doubt it supports second curtain sync.

PW's give you a couple of ways to set the flash output levels/ratios directly from the camera. That's just a convience of course because you can set the output levels on the flash units themselves, but it does make things easier.

Also PW's support the modeling light on the flash. The cowboy web site doesn't mention that it supports this, but I doubt that it does.

If they have good reviews, they are probably good cheap triggers. There's no sense in referring to them in the same context as PocketWizards though. You buy PocketWizards for reliability. There are plenty of cheaper options if you are willing to deal with a few missed pops.
