    Darn it --- I've tried to get a good photo of a red winged black bird for so long. Never could tho...lighting was off or the eye was terrible. Looks like you hit a 'Winner' thumb.gif

    Love the cape -- colors are wonderful with the wheat.

    Nice shot. When I was a kid, I lived in a farming community about 20 miles due east of Los Angeles. Used to see Red Wings back then ... haven't seen any in ages ... just track homes and shopping malls.
