Beach Portraits

We shot several beach portraits for a large family on Longboat Key (Sarasota FL, area) the other night - here are some of our favorites:

My husband is the photographer, not me (I am his assistant and also run our website), so any equipment/lens/camera/etc related comments will be mostly lost on me... sorry...

I love the shots of them walking/running on the beach. Lovely. In the posed shots, it's hard for me to get past the slope- they all look like they are about to slide downhill!

Walking/Running - this is something we have just started doing and I love how they come out

Slope - this is not our usual spot - the family was on vacation and asked us to come to the place they were staying instead of our usual spot. Have to work with what you have sometimes...

The posing is a little sloppy on #6. Overall your husband did a nice job though. I love these types of portraits. I wish I was nearer to the beach so clients would actually request them.

Yeah... we were pressed for time because the sun was almost gone.
