Easiest way to contest out a free session.

I'm using Facebook for networking. I posted my page about a week ago, and already I have 100 fans.

I promised when we hit 100 fans in a short amount of time that I would contest away a free 30 minute session. Nothing big and nothing special. It just seems that the word 'free' really gets people interested.

I hit 100 fast!

My question is - how do I go about giving away this free session? I was set on using something like "the person who has the 17th comment wins!" Until I realized that may not be so fun.

Question is: With using Facebook, how should I go about giving away this session? The first person to comment? The first person to find the hidden message under the photos? Etc.

Just looking for an easy, fair and fun way to give it away.

Perhaps the easiest way is to just enter all 100 fans into an excel spreadsheet or similiar, to number them. Then use a random number generator (built into Excel or on web) to pick the random winner. Also did you limit the range you are willing to travel or do they have to come to you?

I've got a 30 mile traveling range and I'm only rewarding a family, child or head shot session. Nothing like hearing the word free to really get people interested!

I just won a contest from plywerk.com on facebook the other day--they have fun challenges or guessing games sometimes. In my case, the first person to send them a photo of themself dressed as a chimichanga won a free 8x8 panel. I threw a tortilla on my kid's face, poked some eyeholes and called it "Captain Chimi Saves The Day." Get people participating in your page! Make it fun.

You could have a 'mystery pic' contest. Take a photo of something random or mundane, make it hard to decipher and have ppl comment with their guesses as to what they think it is. The person who guesses right, wins. Simple, works in to your business and is fun.
