White-breasted nuthatch taking flight

This bird kept going back and forth to the same tree, and I was able to get this just at take-off:

    I might tone down the saturation and brightness of the BG a bit.

    Nuthatches definitely belong in the cool bird category.:D

    Jeff and Ric,

    Thanks very much for the comments. As for the brightness of the background, I tried desaturating the background and lowering the light, but it didn't look good on my screen, so I didn't bother to repost. I may try fiddling with it some more, though, when I have time.
