I took these two photos in the pond in front of our (until Tuesday) farm. Sadly it was high noon. I was experimenting with my polarizing filter. These bull frogs are ginormous!
Your comments on the two versions (SOOC - other than cropping) would be appreciated.

As for your photos...they seem a little flat to me. So I played with the first one -- just did some levels and used the black eye dropper in curves.
I won't post it tho without your permission.
Great photos tho...I wish I had some of these guys to photograph.

Glad you liked it -- it does need a bit more tweaking, but I know you'll do that

picture of the big guy. I really like how you were able to capture this one
laying about in the moss as you have. Will have to agree with the direction
Mary has taken with the PP. There was a bit of washed looked.
Will we get to see your version for pop?
When I read the title I was hoping I might get to see a picture as the one
I got treated with. Neat. Recently we released our Bull Frog "pet" of
several years back into the wild. We found a really nice pond for him and
off he went lickiddy split. Pretty interesting having him to care for as long
as we did. We learned fast that hand feeding worms could end with him
dangling off several of ones fingers. Little buggers have tiny sharp
teeth. Signs of my minor injuries are pretty much gone now.
I only managed a couple of pics on the release.
Thanks! The pond is FULL of these guys - could keep a french restaurant in frogs legs forever - they're huge!
