Steps to remove shine on skin with Aperture 3

Was more concerned with lighting than the perspiration that created unwanted shine on the face during the last 15 minutes of a shoot of my daughter and son-in-law on a very humid summer night. Can someone suggest what "tool" and steps in Aperture to remove or diminish the shine?

FYI, there's a moderator request thread in the Dgrin Forum Support section. They don't always read every thread, but they reply quckly over there. (I submitted this one for you there and they had it moved in under 2 minutes!)

Try the skin smoothing brush at 50% or so to see what happens. The nice thing about aperture is that, if you're not happy, hit apple/Z and undo.
