LR2 vs. LR3

As of right now I do all of my editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. I want to be able to do a little bit more than what elements allows. So, Is it worth it to spend the extra money to get LR3 instead of LR2? What are the major differences? Problems you've had with either.. etc. I'm just looking for a little more information besides what I've researched before I make a purchase.
Also, I tried downloading the Trial version of both of these and for some reason it won't work every time I try it. So i haven't actually had a chance to play with either of these yet.

When I bought my D700 in May, the camera shop threw in a legit copy of PSE8. I went ahead and registered it 'cause PSE has some nifty creative short-cuts that aren't in CS5 (that's another book!) and it worked fine with my D700. SO . . . must be pretty up-to-date, ACR 6.1 something-or-other. At any rate, isn't it updateable?

You're not alone in that Sister! My opinion too. When I upgraded computer systems recently to 64 bit Win7, I didn't even bother updating my Noise Ninja license. LR3 is SO effective and easy. I upgraged from LR1.4, so you can imagine how gobsmacked I was by LR3.
