Ha! I saw something like this a couple of months ago at my friend's wedding where I was a bridesmaid. (I took my canon G11 lulz, still can't figure out how to focus on anything aside from the center!). This little man was setting off the wedding photographer's strobes during the formals and was asked to stop .
I see you said that the little guy in the photo was setting off the wedding photographer's strobes...hmmm...what kind of wedding photographer doesn't have radio triggers...even cheap ones from Alienbees...
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them. Educate yourself like you'll live forever and live like you'll die tomorrow.
I believe she is too young to actually know what's best or good for her. She was just going with the flow, as do all kids her age do. She'll grow out of that phase soon, thankfully.
