Hi Everyone,
Here's a few more pictures from my trip to Colorado a month back. These are all from the same night, and were taken just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park (click on the picture to see a larger version):
Canon 30D with Canon 10-22 lens + polarizer. 10 vertical shots at F16 and 1/10 bracketted +/- 1 1/3 stops. Stitched with PTGui, merged with Photomatix and finalized in CS4.
Canon 30D with Canon 10-22 lens + polarizer. 10 vertical shots at F16 and 1/10 bracketted +/- 1 1/3 stops. Stitched with PTGui, merged with Photomatix and finalized in CS4.
Canon 30D with Canon 10-22 lens + polarizer. 6 vertical shots at F16 and 1 second bracketted +/- 1 1/3 stops. Stitched with PTGui, merged with Photomatix and finalized in CS4.
Thanks for looking!
James

If you haven't already visited, the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) is located in Boulder and worth a visit. There are displays as well as a tour that talk about the work done at the facility.
I spent a good 10 seconds looking at #1, thinking how great the color is on the left side of the frame.
Then I scrolled down to #2 and found that it blows away #1. Absolutely fabulous!

Sorry for the late reply! I haven't been there, but will have to check it out. I will probably stay my first evening in Boulder when I go in Sept. Thanks!

Thanks! The light was changing so quickly it was unreal. The whole episode probably only lasted 10 minutes.
