    Welcome to dgrinthumb.gif

I hope you don't mind but rather than trying to explain how I would improve this I thought I would give it a quick once over. If you have any problems with this please say so and I will remove my version of your pic at once.

First I added some clouds to get rid of the boring, IMHO, sky. As this was real quick I didn't bother to try and recover the lost portions of the clock tower.
Then I just gave it a quick levels, contrast, and saturation layer adjustment in PSE3 to help the color "pop" a little more.

Let me know what you think.

No, I don't mind at all that you tinkered with it. I thought of doing something with the sky, but didn't know how or if it would too fake. so how do you do that?

I figured out how to do the clouds, but your right, the church tower needs to be done, how to do that?

I used the magic wand tool to select the sky and then opened a pic I had previously taken of clouds and pasted it into the selection of the sky on the original pic.

You could use the lasso tool and the magic wand to get a better more accurate line of sky, there by still being able to see the whole clock tower.
