Point and Shoot for under $200
Hi;
My sister wants to buy her daughter (13yrs old) a nice digital camera. She (my niece) currently owns a Polaroid CIA-xxx PC something or other that she is not happy with.
We were looking at the Sony W350 at BJ's, and it seems like a decent camera at a good price (on sale for $159 until 8/14).
One thing I have noticed is that a lot of these little point & shoots are claiming 12 and 14MP. But I know that none of these can take the shots my 10MP Nikon D200 can take.
It sounds like Megapixel is something of a misnomer, just as Watts is with audio equipment, and Horsepower or Amps is with power tools.
So what do you think. Is the Sony W350 a good camera at a good price for a 13 year old girl who happens to be very talented in art.
