Crawling across the wooden ledge/edge of the bird table tonight. It seemed to eating at the wood, or the lichen or mould, whatever it is that layers the surface. I tried to get a shot of it's mouth in contact with the wood, but it wouldn't play ball.
Managed to get nice and close still mind you. Still too close as well. Urgh... always will dislike them!
