Tropical waterfalls in the desert
Even if they are man made. These are part of a giant water feature at Mandalay Bay. If you hit it at the right time that large cup looking thing has flames shooting out of it. Shot these last night.

Thanks Peter for the comment. Glad you liked them. I enjoyed shooting them there's about 1/2 dozen waterfalls there, great place to go. Too bad they didn't have the flaming caldrouns going it would of made a really dramatic shot.

Took this one and converted it to B&W.
I think it is even more dramatic than the color one IMHO. Especially with the dark night sky.
B&W conversion method:
Used channel mixer with roughly 60% Red, 28% Green, 19% Blue, -2% on the constant slider to darken it slightly. Then used the Gray World Color Balance in PSP and set a color temperature around 6000K which gave it warmer tone overall.
