Change favicon for UserVoice & also make going back & forth simple

Suggestion: It would be great if you guys could put a slightly different favicon on the UserVoice (Feedback) Forum. Someone suggested I bookmark it, which I did, but the logo appears identical to SmugMug's, so I have to remember what position I placed it in on my toolbar. The only way I can find to get to if from DGrin is by clicking on a sticky after clicking on a DGrin Forum. It also seems to me that DGrin, UserVoice, and SmugMug should be easier to get to from one another-- something much more obvious than digging around & then several clicks. (Yeah, Smug can be gotten to easily from the other two, but not vice versa). Just a thought & one of those minor irritations.

And I highly recommend xmarks http://www.xmarks.com/ it's free and syncs all your bookmarks across browsers and computers and devices.

It's a SmugMug page so it gets our favicon :)

Just bookmark it and look for uservoice in title of your bookmarks. Or Feedback.

or use the Firefox awesome bar. thumb.gif

Ummmmm.... that's the link I bookmarked... that's the one that's identical to Smug. I know it's on the SmugMug site, but can't certain pages have their own favicon? (especially one so separate as this.... I mean, we have separate log-ins afterall.... to me it sure doesn't "feel" like it's on the Smug site because of that!) Anyway, I already use FF, and I don't know if what I'm using is the awesome bar, but it sure looks awesome. I don't have room to keep titles on there. I have the icons all across the top of my page. If I kept titles, I'd never fit even a fraction of them on there. I keep abbreviated titles for a few, so I can put a little "F" for forum beside the icon, but even that takes up space where another icon could go. All I'm sayin' is this: I know you guys are open to feedback. But as a long-time user, it doesn't particularly feel that way with little things like this-- the feedback forum is basically hard to get to, kinda tucked away. I've seen plenty of people here in DGrin who don't even know it exists. If it needs a separate log-in, it seems important enough to need a separate icon. Just another carrot to toss people to convince them to stay because of how obvious it is you want them & their feedback around :o)

The awesome bar is the url address bar in Firefox. Just type in 'userv' and let it find the url. Or use the bookmarks and don't rely on the Favicon :)

Anna Lisa, we truly do want feedback :) We put the feedback link prominently on our help page:
http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal and it's in a sticky on this forum, Dgrin. We plan on having it even more prominent in the future!

I'm sorry we can't change the favicon right now.

Ok, I thought bookmarks were the same thing as using the favicon. I mean, I thought that WAS bookmarking it. What do I know? Evidently not much. All I know is, I like one click, and that's what favicons do for me. Click & I'm there. :D
