Mystery Bush

Does anyone know what this is? It is in my garden in Northern Virginia. The flower looks somewhat like dogwood, but it is not. It does not have any odor that's discernable to this human's nose. I've included a couple of general shots of the bush to help in identification. As far as the image is concerned, I like the dark bg.






Thanks for looking! And guessing? This is not a quiz . . . I really want to know what it is!
