This is my friend's 4-year-old daughter. A total 'ham' and no doubt destined for a modeling career. She LOVES having her photo done.

as always - C&C appreciated.

The watermark kinda makes it difficult to really appreciate this photo. I think a little more background in the frame would really make it "pop", assuming its green like what I can see now.

Thanks. I should probably have a separate gallery for posting C&C images without watermarks. This was taken from the client's proof gallery.

I would have loved to do a wider crop, but the little girl was leaning up against a truly ugly picnic bench, so I cropped it out of the picture. The background was a row of simple bushes.

    Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated.

Very cute and supersharp eyes. It's fine the way it is, but were I to consider additional cropping, I would actually probably crop tighter rather than looser - that would lose the bright patch of ground and even out the lighting overall, so you could bump up the brightness and contrast on the face (and those super eyes) a teeny bit more. If you're in LR, play around with some tilts, too so that as you crop you can keep the point of interest at the intersetcion of 3rds. I probably would also dodge/burn the eyes a bit (or a bit more) to bring out the catchlights - not overdone, just a tad more so they sparkle just a tiny bit more.

What a cutie - I bet her parents are entranced!

Thanks. She's a sweetie and a joy to shoot. I'm traveling now but when I get home I'll try your suggestions. Thank you.
