Starry sky in Yellowstone

This was taken from my camp site in Yellowstone last week. Amazing to me the number of stars visible along with the milky way. The light from the dying campfire illuminated the trees.

    What are all those weird white spots? Junk on your sensor? The sky doesn't look anything like that in Madrid. rolleyes1.gif

    Richard, I know what you mean. The light pollution where I live in Florida is terrible.

    My three children all looked up at the night sky in Yellowstone with a sense of astonishment!! Very cool.

    Sure beats looking at a motel ceiling (except when a bear eats you). Glad you lived to get this shot, it is beautiful.
