Alaska Bouldering
So while I have a couple minutes I figured I ought to post some pictures of the summer adventuring here in Alaska. We've been crazy busy, but we made it out the other day for some bouldering at one of the popular local crags, and got a few good results. Here's a selection:
Nathan works his way up "The Lotus", a V3 boulder problem on the single rock we spent our time on.
James tries his hand at "Kshatriya", a V7 rated problem.
Nearing the topout on the same problem:
This is as far as any of us got, the move to the top is HARD when you're stuck in a position like this! :rofl

And here's a final shot of Alex muscling his way into the crux of The Lotus.
That's it for the moment. Summer's drawing to a close here and we're all feeling it. There's just not enough time to climb in a year! :cry

The the position you're shooting from. Maybe a but tighter crops though?
I would think a little wider in some of them...
