I went out to shoot this morning well before sunrise hoping for a nice sunrise. It was not to be. It was foggy, rainy and dark. I took a couple of landscape shots of the wetlands filled with wildflowers which I will post in the landscape forum. Just before I headed for home I came across this Great Blue Heron standing on a pipe. I got a few decent portraits of him, then headed for home.

    Hi Brian,

I really like the third shot, excellent comp. I might have knocked the exposure down a thrid of a stop.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
