I got a new Olympus 50mm 2.0 macro lens and shot a few quick shots to test it out...

Camera is Oly E-520 with some LR3 work. What's your opinion on lens quality?

I like the last one, the detail and color. The color is not too green or translucent.

I don't think you are going to get a real sense of the performance of the lens for street work shooting static subjects. Focus speed and accuracy as well as how good it is wide open are probably going to be more important. Not whether it's super sharp. Go out on the street and use it and bring some of those back for comment!

I watched this lens for a good two months before I got it.

Traded in a kit lens (14-42) and a pancake (25mm) for it- a bit of cash to make up the difference.
