Haunting photograph. I keep coming back to it. He doesn't look distressed he looks puzzled, as in "why are you taking my picture?" or "what are you doing down there?"
What is that on his left arm at the lower right hand edge of the picture?
In the end, I find that I wish for just a bit more context to pull me into the photograph.

Unless he was propositioning you to take his photograph. In which case, still fitting.
