Went out this morning again for Caracara. It seems like that is all we have going around here (not complaining). It is by far the best day yet I have with these birds. At one time, a parent plus two juveniles were going at the roadkill (armadillo) at once. My 600VR on the FX was too close to get all 3 in a frame.
I was able to approach the juvenile and got some close up portrait every time s/he takes a break from eating.
I was really trying to go for the flight shot, 400mm should have been perfect today but I decided to take the 600mm right before I leave the house. ???
All comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.
