    #1 is pretty cool. #2 doesn't do it for me.

    Pretty neat to try new approaches in PP. Good things often come of it.
    Is that lens giving you solid sharp for your efforts? Can't tell from the
    image sizes shown here.

    The sharpness is really very good now that I have actaully used it more and became more used to it.. I did do some different PP and corrected the PP in #2 in my actual galleries...

    Nice to know these things. I selected a 150mm macro that has iffy sharp to
    my extreme disappointment. I will back up now and go with 60 - 100mm
    range lens as was recommended many many times in "Holy Macro" here on
    Dgrin. Have a friend that picked up a 60mm macro and has good things to
    say about it. All I need is sharp and my 150 is not cutting it.
