At $21 shipped it was practically a no brainer (and he takes paypal, too:-)..
The guy is a genius: added tripod mount to a nice sturdy attractive beanbag - and he got himself a very cool product with no competition:-)clap.gif

    Thanks Andy!!thumb.gif

    looks good but..
i think I will stick to the 500g bag of rice I sometimes carry in my rucksack....much cheaper and you can eat the contents if you spend too much on camera gear...

good lord, gotta get one of those.

They should point out that one of the advantages is "no legs" to get level. A monopod only has one, love that. But no legs: only problem is finding something to put it on. Wish I had a ball head on my tripod, with the quick release, but it would be much more than that.

    Ab fab genius!

What size did you order and why?

Please, Andy. And you know my shooting. Lazy and everywhere.

    Size?

ginger (gotta be better than using my backpack to put camera on for stability.)

Mine came in as well (red one) and while I will use it, I am somewhat disappointed with the size. The illustration show it with a SLR (Pentax MZ-50) that is rather small. of course I should have read the dimensions and known better, but the Pod while functional is a tad small on my D70, I can only imagine what it would be on a larger DSLR.
