The thrill of the print

Hi you'll,
I haven't done much printing of my shots for the past year since I moved to Florida. Setting up the new house required dumping a lot of stuff accumulated over the years and I didn't want to create new stuff needing storage.
In the course of setting up the house my DW enlisted the aid of an interior decorator. Oh, the glass I could have bought with the $ he spent. :cry
Anyhow he looked at some of my pics and liked them and decided we should do a "splash" of my shots (a group of 12 8X10s) on one wall. This required me picking out 12 wildlife shots with my DW's input. Quite a battle since Linda is a Disney type and hates raptors. I was able to get one eagle shot in by going patriotic on her. :rofl
I printed up the shots this weekend and it was a real rush to get back to doing some printing. There is just something about holding the actual print that can't be equalled by all the on-line galleries one might have.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I don't know about you but everytime I make a photographic expenditure I have to get Linda something of equal value.
