Still practicing shooting glass. I had a new idea.... but it doesn't have a title yet. The idea started with wanting to shoot milkweed flowers this way, but there are none in bloom in my garden.

I'd like some critique and comments on both the fit for the challenge and on my (hopefully) technical progress with the lighting on the glass.

Thanks, Chris

None of these say milk to me, except #3. But #3 looks good :D

Technically, I'd say you're getting good at these. Beautifully done. But, I would agree with the others. I don't see milk.

Thanks for the input. OK...they don't say "milk"!! At least I ended up with a couple of photos that I like.:D

Ok... back to the milk bottle. I might go bake some cookies and ponder the options.

    YOur feedback is much appreciated.

Very nice images and "edges" - #6 is absolutely gorgeous!

    - However, the images don't quite say "milk" to me...

I like them...esp the last one! BUT I agree that I don't see milk (exept as Pyro said in #3). I completely agree with you on ending up with shots you like. For me that is sometimes the best part of the challenge...shooting things I normally wouldn't have shot, and ending up with a lot of diversity in my portfolio! ;)

    Tatiana, thanks for the comments.

Kelly--I try to pick something specific to practice or learn when i approach the challenges. So, win, or not, I really do win!! This is a great example of that.

I'll work on reshooting something 'milkier' tonight.

amazing shots, great lighting, great colors! I'm jealous of your skill! But, I have to agree, this doesn't say 'milk' to me. I think the shots would be just as stunning with an empty vase and the flowers - therefore, to me it's a shot of a vase and flowers, and the vase just happens to be filled with milk! I really love #4 - great vase and I really dig the black bg.

I'm still trying to get some ideas!
